3 Most common CPAP Problems

CPAP or we can say that Continuous positive airway pressure Therapy is used to diagnose the Sleep Apnea disorder. For mild Sleep Apnea, therapist never uses CPAP Therapy but for the obstructive sleep apnea it became a necessity. CPAP is nothing but just a small machine that supplies a constant and steady air pressure, a hose, and a mask or nose piece. Sometimes, due to some reason, the CPAP equipment creates a problem such as:-

1. Wrong size CPAP Mask:-

A  numerous of CPAP masks are available in the market that are of distinctive sizes. If you randomly choose your CPAP mask then maybe it doesn't fit to your need and requirement. For example there are many shops of CPAP Toronto from where you can easily purchase your suitable CPAP Mask with consult of Doctor.

2. Low air pressure:-

CPAP mask provides a low air pressure, followed by an automatic and gradual increase in the pressure to your prescribed setting as you fall asleep. This low air pressure is difficult to inhale that leads to trouble. So, ask your Doctor to increase its pressure or replace the mask.

3. Dry Nose:-

The heated humidifier of CPAP is connected with the air pressure machine whose level can be adjusted. IF your mask leaks, it can cause dry nose. So, always use a nasal spray before CPAP device.

For the proper treatment of  obstructive sleep apnea, adjustable and comfortable CPAP device is very essential.
